Location and Attractions Nearby

Jacquou Parc is set in over 10 hectares of woodland in the Périgord Noir, known for its beautiful villages and medieval towns. Tips for Visiting Jacquou Parc

  • Arrive Early: Arriving first thing in the morning ensures you’ll get a full day of fun and secure a good spot near the swimming pool or water slides. It also ensures you get a locker. When we went, we went on the amusement park in the morning and then to the swimming area in the afternoon so we couldn’t get a locker to put any of our belongings in.
  • Bring Swim Gear: For smaller kids, remember to bring swim jackets. The heated pool is perfect for splashing safely.
  • Plan for the Weather: The park can get busy in the summer months, so consider bringing sun protection and planning quieter rides during peak times.

A Great Day Out

Jacquou Parc is a fantastic option for families looking for a fun day in the heart of the Dordogne. Its mix of activities, good location, and friendly team members make it no wonder it garners excellent reviews. Whether you’re enjoying the thrill of the Ferris wheel, relaxing by the paddling pool, or exploring the prehistoric sites nearby, this park promises a memorable experience for everyone.

We went with three nine-year-olds and a three-year-old, and all the children had a great day. It isn’t modern, and some rides are tired-looking, but it’s a fab day out for good old-fashioned fun.
